The concern that non-white people, who are viewed as “less capable,” will replace white majorities is reinforced by the “great replacement” theory, which has its roots in white supremacist ideology. It also has racist hints, at times linking powerful Jews such as George Soros to Jewish individuals or using veiled language directed at “globalists” or “elites.” These opinions have been promoted in the online manifesto associated with the Buffalo massacres, coupled with baseless conspiracy theories and delusions regarding the moral and intellectual disadvantage of Black people.
