This article debunks the disinformation about the war in Ukraine being spread through social media. This article discusses how both Russia and Ukraine have been spreading disinformation along multiple different social media platforms to try to influence public opinion in favor of them both domestically and globally. For example this article states, "Social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok have become hotspots for information and discussions about the war in Ukraine from both pro-Russia and pro- Ukraine sides." With that being said this article describes how this topic is both conspiring and contradictory. This article is conspiring because this is a secret plan between the countries to commit the unlawful act of spreading disinformation for their own benefit. This article is contradictory because many people are gullible to the things they see online and will often believe the first thing they see or hear, leaving them to act and think a certain way that isn't just.
