Despite not being in the news cycle for some time, QAnon is still very much an active movement. A recent report has shown that the online channels are not only still active, but being monetized by advertising companies on Telegram. QAnon influencers who had accounts on other platforms are now being financially rewarded on Telegram. Believers claim that a secret group of devil-worshipping child predators are conspiring against Donald Trump. There is other misinformation shown here, such as a post stating that the USA will join a “one government system” if they sign the pandemic treaty with WHO. This is an example of “illogical reasoning” from “On Disinformation” by Lee McIntyre. The United States wouldn’t enter a one government system because the country would no longer be a democracy. Additionally, citizens would lose their amendment rights and the government would be restricted from implementing new laws and policies.
