This article is about images and videos being falsely portrayed as Israel-Gaza war imagery. The images and footage being spread online are real– but the problem is that they are actually from the Syrian civil war. The author rightfully argues that spreading this form of misinformation both delegitimizes the real struggles of the Israel-Hamas War, and re-traumatizes the victims of these videos.
